Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Food & Beverage Manager to oversee food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, banqueting and events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining excellent service standards while achieving departmental revenue, cost and profitability objectives.

Working closely with the culinary team and senior management, the Food & Beverage Manager will lead the department's people, service delivery and commercial performance.

Key Responsabilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars and other outlets.
  • Maintain consistently high guest-service and operational standards.
  • Achieve departmental revenue, profitability and budget targets.
  • Monitor food, beverage and labour costs.
  • Prepare forecasts and monitor departmental performance.
  • Coordinate banquets, conferences, weddings, functions and special events.
  • Support menu planning, pricing and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor inventory, purchasing and stock-control procedures.
  • Ensure accurate billing and financial administration for functions and events.
  • Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate food and beverage team members.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety requirements.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and other departmental heads.
  • Respond professionally to guest feedback and operational issues.

    Requirements

  • Strong leadership and people-management ability.
  • Excellent guest-service and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial-management capabilities.
  • Ability to control labour and operating costs.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets.
  • Ability to perform effectively within a busy hospitality environment.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.

    • Education & Experience

    Degree, Postgraduate Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related discipline.

    Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar Food & Beverage management role.

    Previous hotel or resort experience is preferred.

    Experience in banqueting, conferences, weddings or large-scale events will be considered an asset.
