Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction projects from initial planning through execution and final handover.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for programme delivery, project budgets, site coordination, quality standards and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
This is a hands-on project management position requiring regular presence on site and close collaboration with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsabilities
- Plan, coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects from design through completion and handover.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal project teams.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budgets and milestones.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, permits, health and safety requirements and quality standards.
- Review project expenditure, invoices, variations and change orders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, schedules and progress reports.
- Act as a key point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors and senior management.
- Resolve operational and construction-related issues promptly to minimise disruption and delays.
- Prepare regular project updates and reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and methodologies.

- Strong commercial and budget-management awareness.
- Good knowledge of health and safety and quality-control requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding project deadlines.
- Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools.
- Flexibility to work across project sites in Malta as required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction project management, preferably involving medium to large-scale developments.
Previous experience managing multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and subcontractors is required.
